7 days – Women’s only small group wellness tour in Finland’s North

Rest. Recharge. Reconnect.

Surrounded by the snowy silence of Finnish Lapland, our “Women’s Wellness Retreat in Finland” is a chance to slow down and tune into yourself, nature, and to a community of like-minded women.

Nestled in the heart of Ruka, at the serene and stylish House of Northern Senses, this retreat is a blend of relaxation, adventure, cultural experiences and the soul-soothing power of the Arctic wild.

With crisp air, daily sauna rituals, gentle movement, and the northern lights dancing overhead, this is the kind of reset that lingers long after you return home.

Designed for all levels, whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this retreat offers a carefully curated blend of yoga, mindfulness and unique Arctic experiences like river floating, husky safari, northern lights gazing and snowshoeing through silent forests.

It’s perfect for friends, sisters, mothers and daughters, or anyone longing to press pause and reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way. With your own 50 Degrees North Tour Leader and a small group atmosphere, you’re in excellent hands from the moment you arrive.

Guiding your yoga practice is Hege Norman-Stormbringer, a passionate and inspiring teacher from Lillehammer, Norway. Hege brings a deeply holistic approach, with over 700 hours of yoga training across Ashtanga, yin, trapeze, and breathwork.

She’s also an accomplished author, with more than 20 published works. For Hege, yoga is more than movement, it’s a way of living from the heart, rooted in presence and joy. Her warmth, wisdom, and sense of calm infuse every session, making this retreat as grounding as it is transformative.

Please note: Due to the intimate size of the House of Northern Senses, single occupancy of rooms is not available on this retreat. However, if you’re traveling solo, you can share a twin room with another female guest

MEDICAL AND HEALTH INFORMATION:

All travellers need to be in good physical health in order to participate fully on this trip. When selecting your trip please make sure you have read through the itinerary carefully and assess your ability to manage and enjoy group travel.

Please consider carefully how much luggage you bring as you will be responsible for carrying all the luggage. There is limited portage service in Scandinavia and your tour escorts cannot help you, beyond reason.

At 50 Degrees North, animal welfare is a top priority during all our tours and packages. We carefully select suppliers who adhere to strict animal welfare standards, ensuring that wildlife interactions are respectful and comply with local, national, and international regulations.

We avoid offering excursions that involve captive wildlife, except where they are properly regulated, and all activities are designed to minimise disturbance to natural ecosystems.

Our travellers are educated on responsible, including responsible animal interactions, through our ‘Responsible Travel Tips’ for travellers, and our guides are trained to lead by example, promoting ethical conduct towards both wild and domesticated animals.

By prioritising animal welfare in every aspect of our tours, we ensure that your travel experience is both enjoyable and ethically sound. Read our article on Animal Welfare to learn more.
